ADOPT-A-THON MARATHON - Oct 22 & 23 2010

We need your help - this will be one cool event and you won't want to miss out on this!!!  Please take a look at the volunteer positions that we need to pull this Adopt-A-Thon Marathon off.  Keep in mind this is new to everybody!!!!

If you will click on the link over to the right of this page, that will show you basically a real time schedule in a pdf format of the event.  You will have to email, me, Dayna @ dboso@kshumane.org and I will then put you into the volunteer position at the desired time. (This will constantly be changing as volunteers commit to a position)

If you will notice the sheet is color coordinated to help you with volunteer position descriptions which appear later on in the document.  We have several events going on within the event.

The beige coloring is the entire event
The pinkish red/color is the Splurge Event which takes place from 6:30 - 8:30 Friday
The green coloring is the Pancake Feed which takes place from 8:00 - 10:00 Saturday morning
The blue coloring is the Ice Cream Social which takes place from 4:00 - 6:00 on Saturday

A couple side notes.  The back door of the facility will be locked.  All volunteers will need to enter through the front doors as we will be open from 11:00 a.m. Friday the 22nd until 11:00 p.m. Saturday the 24th - that is of course we adopt out 200 animals first.  Yee haw!  So please spread the word to all your contacts about the event in which all animals are 50% off their adoption fees.

We may have some live feeds during these times at the Shelter as well.  Some details are not complete!!!
